Series: The Creed – “We believe …” “I believe…” is one of the most loaded phrases in the English language. It usually precedes a statement where the speaker places a stake in the ground regarding what they hold to be true. In our post-modern world, truth claims are treated with some suspicion. Whose belief is truth…’the belief’’? In this series, we will explore the Apostles’ Creed; a creed that informs, corrects and defines the bedrock beliefs of Christianity. However, it is more than just belief; it makes all the difference in and to the world.
