Chapel Hill Uniting Church brings the Outback to Chapel Hill!
Chapel Hill Uniting Church will host the Bush Dance 2017 and Great Outback BBQ on 14th October 2017 to raise funds for Frontier Services and help those in Outback Australia doing it tough.
There are significant mental health issues and people struggling with social isolation who need a hand. Chapel Hill Uniting Church are supporting Frontier Services to provide practical and pastoral care as they have done for the past 100 years.
Friends, family and community members are invited to meet at Chapel Hill Uniting Church Hall for our Bush Dance 2017 and Great Outback BBQ which will raise money and encourage others to show their Outback Aussie Spirit.
This is a fun way that we can get involved and support a really great cause.
Bush Dance 2017 will be a great night of fun for all of the family! Tickets can be pre-purchased now $10 Single or $30 Family. There will be a live band, dancing, fire pit, toasting marshmallows and of course, the fundraising Great Outback BBQ. BBQ, drinks and sweets may be purchased on the night with all proceeds going towards the work and ministry of Frontier Services.
People across Australia will take part in the Great Outback BBQ during September/October to help raise funds for Frontier Services. “The Great Outback BBQ combines the popular Aussie tradition of gathering around the BBQ with the opportunity to lend your support to people living in the most isolated parts of the country,” said Frontier Services National Director Jannine Jackson.
